Easy 5 Step Bun!

They’ve been called ballerina buns, chignons, and topknots. Buns were very trendy over the summer and they remain a fall favorite. Chicks are wearing their buns loose, messy, polished and elegant. I prefer to wear this style when I’m taking a break from my hair extensions. This is a super cute and easy hairstyle. Buns have gone from formal to fun. Check out my bun tutorial below and save yourself from another bad hair day!

 

 

 

Here’s what you’ll need!

1. Boar Bristle Brush

2. Hair Pins (4 to 5 pins)

3. Bun Enhancer  ( purchase from Sally Beauty or any other beauty supply) (optional)

4. Rat-tail Comb

5. Ponytail Holder

Step #1

Brush hair into a high ponytail.

Step #2

Use ponytail holder to secure hair in place. Bring ponytail through the hole of the bun enhancer.

Step #3

Comb hair down over the bun enhancer…make sure there are no gaps.

Step #4

With the end of the rat-tail comb…in a down and around motion tuck hair under the bun enhancer.

Step #5

Pin hair at the base of the bun.
